Grecia Marrufo - Senior Research Associate

Grecia Marrufo received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, where she specialized in public sector and labor economics. She currently holds a joint appointment as a Research Fellow at the Stanford Institute of Economic Policy Research and as a Senior Research Associate at the SPHERE Institute. Her research has focused on the financing of social insurance programs and the impact of such programs on labor markets. She has also done extensive analysis in the area of social services including Food Stamps and Medi-Cal. She has more than five years of experience with public policy research and evaluation. Finally, she is a consultant with the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank on public programs in Latin America. .
