Michael Bernstam - Treasurer

Michael Bernstam has over twenty-five years of experience studying economic systems in their relationship with income, population, financial development, natural resources, the environment, conflict, and other social change. The focus of his work in the last ten years has been on the causes of economic growth and contraction in post-Communist economies, with special emphasis on Russia. Michael Bernstam is a Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University where he analyzes the causes of Russia's Great Contraction and proposes policies to set Russia on a path of sustained growth.
